Chapter 3
1. Kenny is hesitant to spend time with Rufus because he is all ready made fun of by people and Rufus is starting to get laughed at so he thinks he will get laughed at even more.
2. Kenny is friends with LJ even LJ isn't nice to him because a few toy dinosaurs is a small price to pay to have someone to play with.
3. kenny thinks Rufus is a better friend because Rufus is honest and dosn't try to trick Kenny and steal his toys like LJ did.

1. I think that the relationship between Joetta and Kenny is they for each other. I think that because when Joetta and Kenny have to wear layers and layers of clothes Kenny comes into Joetta's classroom and helps her get all of her stuff off. hat was very sweet of kenny do that for his little sister.
2. The author made me feel sorry for Larry Dunn because when Byron was beating him up because Larry stole Kenny's gloves, Larry wanted too look all tough but he was in alot of pain. Like he was getting thrown into a fence then got a bloody nose and more. Yet again I think he needed a whooping for doing all of that mean stuff to Kenny.

1) Kenny is hesitant to spend time with Rufus because he is sort of a "bully magnet" and kenny thinks that rufus is saving him from the bullies. Kenny Knows that Byron & Buphead will make fun of rufus . The reason why rufus is a "bully magnet" because he has things that people make fun, of a few of the things that he has a southern accent and also because of his raggedy clothing.
2) I think Kenny is friends with LJ because he plays with him
3) Kenny ends up thinking that Rufus is a better friend than LJ because he plays fair and he is nice and likes Kenny for who he is not for what he has.

Dunn because it makes the reader feel bad for Larry but at the same time not like him. One reason is that he stole Kenny's leather rabbit gloves and didn't admit it, but then you feel bad for him because when Byron gets mad at someone, he beats that someone up.

1) He is hesitant because Larry Dunn and the other kids tend to pick on im a lot about his clothes and the call him "country cornflake". Kenny is afraid to get mixed in and become "country cornflake number 2".
2)Kenny is friends with him because if Rufus weren't there LJ would be his only friend.
3)He thinks this because LJ stole things from him while they were playing with the dinosaurs and he always argued on who would be the Nazis. CHAPTER 4
1) Kenny and Joetta have a much stronger ralationship than with Kenny and Byron. Joetta is very kind to Kenny. The only thing that really annoys him about her is that she complains about all the clothes that they have to wear to school, before they leave the house and at school when Kenny is helping her with it.Byron soon cleared that problem.
2) He does this by getting beaten up much more than he deserved. When he was ging kids Maytag washes, Byron found out that Larry stole Kenny's gloves and went to retrieve them. Byron beats Larry up real good when he refuses to give the gloves back, and even when he did give them back Byron kept pounding away.

1) Kenny is hesitant his time with Rufus because his only other friend is LJ, LJ steals some of his dinosaurs at a time. Kenny dose not have to worry about Rufus steeling any dinosaurs.
2)Kenny is friends with LJ because he is one of the kids that will hang out with him and not make fun of his lays eye.
3)Kenny end up thinks that Rufus is a better friend then LJ because LJ steels dinosaurs and Kenny dose not need to worry for his dinosaurs when Rufus.

2) Kenny is friends with LJ because he's the only person who will hang out with him and won't tease him. Kenny decides that even though LJ tricks him, he'll take what he can get.

4) Kenny's relationship with Joetta is an OK one. It isn't a great one and isn't a bad one either. Kenny takes care of Joetta even though he doesn't want to. For example he took off her clothes for her at school. "'Man I hate taking all that stuff off of Joey...'" Even though he doesn't want to he still does it.
5) The author makes you sympathize with Larry because how he lives since he's obviously poor and has family issues. I remember the book say there was a secret about his mom. "Larry Dunn's tennis shoes had holes in the bottoms..." His coat was also torn and was wearing short-sleeves in the middle of winter.

CHAPTER FOUR:
1. Kenny has a good relationship with Joetta, and it shows because he comforts her and also takes the time to peel off all the layers of Winter coats, sweaters, and shirts off of Joey.
2. I felt bad for Larry because it said he had holes in the bottoms of his shoes and rips under his jacket, and also Byron beatrs him up real bad for stealing kenny's leather gloves by throwing him against the chain-link fence. Byron tells kenny to punch him, but kenny only taps him on ther arm and then Byron punches Kenny in the stomach.
